We used a pink dot marker to trace the shape and the shape word. And then dotted all the firework shapes that matched the shape in the middle.

You can also reuse these shape worksheets in learning centers. You can laminate the page or put the page in a sheet protector. It is a great way to work on shapes with kids.
After you have the page prepared you can use a dry erase marker on the shape trace. And then use clear counters to cover the shapes. And this works for all 12 shapes. You can put all the shapes in a binder and have them work on all the shapes. They flip through and see all the shapes and can work on them all.
