Ways to Use the Car Prewriting Strips Printable
There is always more than one way to use a printable. And I love showing you how to change them up. I’m going to show you a few ways to use these pre-writing strips with kids.
Use Dry Eraser Markers with the Car Prewriting Printables
If you have the car laminated then you can use dry erase markers on them over and over. This makes a fine fine motor center. You can use thick markers or fine point markers to trace the line from one side to the other.
You can see that we used a fine point marker to trace the line below.
Use Erasers with the Car Prewriting Printables
You can find loads of mini erasers at different places and line the tracing strips with the erasers. A great way to work on fine motor skills.
You can use any small item for this like clear counters or glass gems.
Use Playdough with the Car Prewriting Printables
You can make the lines into mini playdough mats. They can make playdough snakes and have them match the line on the prewriting strip.
Use a Car To Trace the Prewriting Lines
Since this is a car theme you can use cars to drive on the prewriting line. It is a super fun way to change up how you trace the lines.
