ABCs are something you can work on all year long. I know that we are always working on tracing our letters many different ways.
These clover ABC tracing strips are great for St. Patrick’s Day. They work on tracing letters for kids with a fun seasonal change for March

The clover ABC tracing strips are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for a St. Patricks Day theme.
It is recommend that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating

Things to use with the Clover Themed ABC Tracing Strips Printable
- printer
- white cardstock
- laminator – this is similar to what I use and love!
- laminating pouches
- q-tip
- dry erase markers
- rings
Ways to Use the St Patrick’s Day ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You are going to see a few ways to use the clover ABC tracing strips.
Laminating the Clover ABC Tracing Strips Printable
There are two ways to laminator the clover ABC tracing strips. You can laminate them before cutting them out. Or you can cut out the tracing strips and then laminate. You can see that we laminate and then cut out the tracing strips. It is less work. Be sure you print the alphabet tracing strips on cardstock to help them last longer.
Storing the St. Patrick’s Day ABC Tracing Strips Printables
After you have the tracing strips laminated and cut out you can store them on a ring. The ring is nice because you can put on the letters you are working on or all the letters.
Plus it makes it easy to store when you are doing to keep them together between kids using them.
Setting up a St. Patrick’s Day ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can see below we have the letter tracing center set up. You have a dry eraser marker and the letters you are using on a ring. The ring makes it easy to flip through the letters.
Here are a few other ideas you could do with the letters
– You could put all the letters for a sight word they are learning. This is a great St. Patrick’s Day kindergarten center idea.
– You could put on the letters for CVC words and have them trace the letters and tell you what word the letter make. This is a great St Patrick’s learning to read center.
– You could put on the letters of their name. This is a great kindergarten and PreK center idea.
– You could just give them one letter at a time. This is a great PreK center idea.
Tracing the Letters on the Clover ABC Tracing Strips
After you know what letters you are going to use have them trace the letters. They have the example of how to trace the letters and then let them trace the letters and have fun!
The dry erase marker is easy to wipe off. If you have trouble getting the marker off use a dry erase board cleaner and it comes right off.

A fun way to work in extra letter tracing practice is to use a q-tip to wipe off the dry erase marker. It is a great fine motor activity and extra letter tracing practice.
