Fun To Use New Years Clock Task Cards
One big theme at this time of year is New Year’s Eve. It is all about counting and clocks. I love that you get the countdown to New Year’s Day! It is loads of fun even if you do it at noon!
I thought it would be fun to expand on time and clocks and have some fun with some free New Year’s Eve clock themed task cards.
Something fun and easy to work on telling time, plus a great New Year’s Eve theme.

This is a great addition to the New Years Printables and telling time printables on the site.
Telling time is something that you start out simple and work up to doing more. I also love learning with different themes. New Years is a great theme for time.
There are two sets of task cards and worksheets that match the cards. I love having different levels of learning with activities.
Each of the cards has a number on the top right side of the card. The number match up on the worksheet. So they can fill out worksheet based on the numbers on the cards.
Ways to Use the New Years Clock Task Cards Printable
You are going to see a few ways to use the New Year telling time task cards.
New Years Time Task Cards On a Ring
I punch of hole in the left corner and put the cards on a ring. This allows them to flip through the cards. Plus it makes it easier to keep together for a learning math center.
New Years Time Task Cards Writing Time
The first set of task cards has just basic writing in the time. It gives you a time that will end in 00, 15, 30 or 45. This is to make it as easy for them to write in the time. This set is great late kindergarten and easy first grade. It all depends on the level of the child.
New Years Time Task Cards Writing Time With Word Problems
The second set of cards has word problems based on addition and subtraction. This allows them to add or subtract with time. You have some cards that give a starting time or an ending time.
