November 2014 Book Finds
This months books are all library finds. We enjoy read books from the library. They vary in what we get but they are always fun to read. Plus get to know you library better! The librarians always like to hear if you like something or not. You might be looking for something different to read and they would be happy to help you find some books.
I hope that you enjoy these as much as we did!
Hug Me is a story about a cactus that just wants a hug. Just who can hug a cactus? This is fun to see all what happens and who is her friend in the end.
I Want to be a Ballerina is a story about a girl who wants to be just like her sister. She wants to be a ballerina. This is a fun story and builds on what it means to be a ballerina and that it is hard work. I love that that books shows both girls and boys in the class.
The King and the Magician is a great story about power and how being humble is some times better. It is a classic story and very fun to read. The pictures are wonderful.
A Stick Is an Excellent Thing: Poems Celebrating Outdoor Play is book full of poems about play outside! It has so many great poems about playing out side. There are so many ways you can use this book! Some poems include hopscotch, monkey in the middle, jacks and more.
How to Knock Out Nightmares (How to Banish Fears), How to Defeat Dragons (How to Banish Fears)
and How to Demolish Dinosaurs (How to Banish Fears)
are some new books that we read. There are several books in this series. We just love them. They are a fun way to talk about fears and we have enjoyed reading them. If you want some fun books to read about fears these would be a good read.

Always love to hear about new books! Pinned these!
Aww, that Hug Me one would probably make me cry, lol!
We spend a great deal of time at the library as well. We check out tons of books. I often wonder how the library has so many books left on the shelves. I guess other families don’t raid the library in the way we do. I’m impressed that our small town library has so many wonderful titles. Just like you we make great finds every week. I’m going to put A Stick is an Excellent Thing on my next library list!
