Pumpkin & Kinetic Sand Sensory Bin
Pumpkins are a favorite fall theme! We use them all the time and I love switching up the sensory bins as we change seasons. And our pumpkin and kinetic sand sensory bin is loads of fun to play in.

Ways to Play in the Pumpkin and Kinetic Sand Sensory Bin
When I gave her the bin the first thing she did was push all the pumpkins in the sand. This is a great sensory activity. You have the pressure while pushing in the pumpkins and trying to get them all in.
Then she followed that up by pulling them all out! It was fun to see the impressions left by the pumpkins in the kinetic sand. This is also great for fine motor work.
You can also do letters in the sand. You can start with them tracing the letter in the sand. Then have them outline the letter with the pumpkins.
They can also make fun drawings in the sand with the pumpkins. This a fun way to just explore the pumpkins in the sand.
What I love about sensory bins is that there is not an age limit with them and there is never just one way to play in them!
