Zoo ABC Lowercase Easy Reader Book

I’m always getting asked for more easy reader books. There are so many ways to use the books. Today I have a fun zoo themed abc letters that work on lowercase letters.

I know that sometimes when we change up how to work on the letters it makes it easier for kids to learn them. Plus these can be fun for review as well.

This Zoo ABC book goes great with my zoo pack.

The book has the following animals: kangaroo, giraffe, tiger, elephant, alligator, monkey, panda, lion, and zebra.

Each of the pages has a lower case letter to trace with a simple sentence using the sight words: is and for.

How We Used These Printables

One fun thing we do when reading these book is to underline the letter we are working on. You can have them color the page and then whatever color they used to trace the letter underlines the matching letters. We underlined all the “a” in the words on the page. This book has the tracing letters in lowercase. I know that kids need to work on both uppercase and lowercase letters.

We used the Wild About Animals Jungle Counters to cover the letters. We used the monkeys from the set since we liked them best. We have also used the dot markers a lot.
