I’m always getting asked for more easy reader books. There are so many ways to use the books. Today I have a fun zoo abc letters that work on lowercase letters.
I know that sometimes when we change up how to work on the letters, it makes it easier for kids to learn them. Plus, these can be fun for review of letters.

The zoo alphabet lowercase easy reader book works on tracing lowercase letters for the beginning sounds of zoo animals.
This Zoo ABC book goes great with my zoo pack. It has 9 zoo animals in the book for kids.
You also have the sight words: is and for.
The book has the following animals: kangaroo, giraffe, tiger, elephant, alligator, monkey, panda, lion, and zebra.
Each of the pages has a lower case letter to trace with a simple sentence using the sight words: is and for.

How to Make the Zoo ABC Lowercase Easy Reader Books
I always get asked how I make the easy reader books. Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.
Cut Down the Center of the Easy Reader Book
You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.
Alternate the Pages of the Easy Reader Book
You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.
Staple the Left side of the Easy Reader Book
After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.
Now you are ready to use your zoo letter easy reader book.

Underline the Letter in the Book
One fun thing we do when reading these book is to underline the letter we are working on. You can have them color the page and then whatever color they used to trace the letter underlines the matching letters. We underlined all the “a” in the words on the page. This book has the tracing letters in lowercase. I know that kids need to work on both uppercase and lowercase letters.
Work on the Sight Words in the Book
You can also work on the sight words in the book. You can talk about the sight words or do anything with the sight words before reading the book.
