I know that there are many ways to write the letters of the alphabet. It is fun to have something different you can use with kids.
The free ABC letter tracing is great for early letter tracing. They are simple and easy so you can use them in many different ways. I love that they can be whatever you need at that time!
This printable is a part of my subscriber library. You can click here to subscribe to get access to the page.
Each of the pages has a big set of tracing letters for uppercase and lowercase. They are big letters so kids that need a bigger letter for tracing. They are in black and white so that you can print them on white paper or colored paper.
How we use these ABC Tracing Letters
You can have kids rainbow trace their letters. We used colored pencils and traced both letters with all 6 colors. It is simple and easy to do set up as a learning center.
You can put these pages in the sheet protectors and use them over and over with dry erase markers. I have all 26 letters in a 1-inch binder that we can just pull out and use. After they have traced the letters you can have them use a cotton ball to erase the lines.
You can turn the ABC tracing pages into a hands-on mat. If you do the hands-on mat print them on white cardstock or color cardstock and laminate or put them in sheet protectors to help the pages last longer.
I love that there are seasonal erasers you can get everywhere. We get a lot of them from Target. They are always switching those up each season. You can use the erasers to outline the letters. We used apples and used red for uppercase and green for lowercase.
Another hands-on activity you can do is pull out the different types of counters. If you have themed counting bears you can use them on the letter b.
