You start your painting by placing any of the Christmas cookie cutters you are going to use on the watercolor paper.
It does not matter where you place the cookie cutter or which cookie cutter you start with.
Hold the Christmas Cookie Cutter and Paint Inside
You want to hold on to the top of the cookie cutter or the sides. You can do which is easier for the kids doing the painting.
You can see we use the brush to paint inside the cookie cutter. You want to paint all around inside the cookie cutter.

You can see how good the shape of the stocking looks on the paper. It is a fun way to get shapes of items on the paper.
