Flower Shopping

We are working on flowers right now and what better way to see lots of them than to take a trip to the flower shop! The shops carry different flowers throughout the year. This is a great way to look at flower and see the different smells and colors. This also allows them to touch the flowers and see all the parts we learned about.

Before going we reviewed a few flowers and the matching game from the Mini Flower Pack. This gave them names and things to look for in the store.

We got in and looked around at all the flowers. We named the ones we knew and asked for help on the others. Mary loved to point out all the colors.

The girls took turns smelling different flowers.

Everyone picked out a different flower and color to take home.

After we got home we drew pictures of our flowers and about the trip.

The finished pictures of our trip.
