Telling time can be hard when you start out and these monster telling time clip cards are a way to make telling time fun and easy.
You work on learning time by hourly time with these telling time clip cards by matching the same clock on around the monster.

What is the Clip Card?
A clip card is a printable that has an item for the focus and a matching item to clip.
So the monster telling time clip cards work on matching the same hourly time clock that is on the monster.
You will see the monster with the clock on here and then there 10 clocks around to pick from and clip. Each clock has 5 or 6 matching clocks for kids to clip.
You can see an example of the clip card below. If you plan on using the monster telling time clip cards a lot then it is recommended that you print them on cardstock

Ways to Use the Monster Time Clip Cards Printable
You are going o see sever ways to clip the cards and a few other printables you could use with the clip cards.
Clip the Monster Time Clip Cards
Okay, you can have tons of fun clipping these cards. If the cards are printed on cardstock they hold up really well over time.
After you clip the time you can ask them these time themed questions:
- What time is on the card?
- What time is on the other clocks?
- What hour comes after?
- What hour comes before?
Use Paper Clips on the Monster Time Clip Cards
If you don’t have clothespins you might have paper clips laying around. This is a great fine motor activity to clip the cards. You can leave the paper clips on the card to check their work,
Use Glass Gems on the Monster Time Clip Cards
Now don’t think you have to clip the cards. Use can use any item around the house to mark the same time. You will find that glass gems or clear counters work wonderfully. You could also use unfix cubes.
Monster Time Clip Cards with Telling Time Help Mat
You can also take the monster time clip cards and use them with the telling time help mat. It is a great way to build the time on the clock with playdough.
