Spring is here and it is time for some more updated Weekly Reading Charts. This time, we have the chapter book and book bag. We really have enjoyed having the different options to pick from. I like that I have a wide range of charts to use with my girls.
Plus it is nice to change things up every now and then. These seasonal printables help with that.
I like having these weekly reading charts. It has made a difference in our reading. We still do use the 100 charts every now and then. They still do have a purpose and get used. Reading is so important and our reading does change as we get older. It is one reason that I keep making new charts as we need them. It is fun to have the seasonal changes for my older girls. They love to have something fun to use as well.
You can check out the weekly Reading carts from last year as well.
For my youngest right now we are doing a book bag where she reads the same books over and over during the week. She will mark how many times she read the same book. She will also have a space to note if she liked the book or not. This has helped her build up her reading skills.
For my two older girls, we are doing more chapter books and young adult books. These charts make it easy to see at a glance where they are in the book. Plus it helps them keep track as well. I can monitor what they are doing and change things up as I need to.
What you are going to find in these printables:
- 4 Weekly Reading Chart for Book Bags
- 4 Weekly Reading Chart for chapter books
- 4 Themes: flowers, rain, flower & butterfly, kite.
