I love wreaths they are so much fun to make. We made another apple wreath and we loved it. And this is a twist on that wreath but with glitter apples!
These wreaths are simple and easy to make. And that is what a lot of people love. You can do it with a mix of ages and have fun.
Plus they are super quick to make and people love that about the paper plate wreaths.
This is a great apple project for kids to make. You can do them as slow or as fast as you want. The wreath is easy to set up and make.
We read the book Apples (New & Updated Edition). It is one of my favorite by Gail Gibbons.
What you need to make the glitter apple wreath
- Glitter paper
- 2 inch apple punch
- 1 inch apple punch
- dot marker
- papaer plates – With center cut out
- glue

How to make the glitter apple wreath
we use the lime dot marker from the brilliant set dot marker
. I love how it is lighter than the normal green.
You can put a paper under the wreath if you are worried about the color getting on your table. We use a magic eraser to clean the table afterwards.

In the next part, you can do two ways. You can have them punch out the apples or have the apples ready in advance. I love having them punch the apples because it gives them sensory activity while they are waiting for the wreath to dry a little bit.

You can see the two sizes of apples we used here. It is fun to have them in different sizes. Not all apples are the same size and shape.

Finally, we glue the apples on the wreath. You can have a many as you want on the wreath and that leaves it open for them to be as creative as they want.
