I’ve been looking forward to the pirate theme for Poppins Book Nook since Build Up Summer Learning Week 1 was Pirates! This is a great theme for many different ages. There are several pirate books you can look into for various ages. This is one you can explore any way you want. This can be a serious theme or a fun theme.

There are so many different types and styles of books to explore with pirates. I like that pirates can be a flexible them for all ages. I really like that one of the first Magic Tree House books is a pirate book: Pirates Past Noon (Magic Tree House, No. 4). I love that the series also has a information guide for a lot of the books. This helps you learn more about the topic in a fun way for kids.
I’m looking forward to exploring a few more books with the girls as the month goes along! This is a theme that has many different ages of books. You are going to find books for all ages of kids. I love this theme!
Here are a few Pirate books we will be look at. Yes there are a few other books in here:

Love your blog! It is truly a blessing for our family. I follow many of your activities. I can never see the books you recommend on my iPad. Does anyone know how to rectify that problem?
Thanks again for your creativity and generosity,
Caterina
The books are in a widget from amazon. And that does not work in tablets. It is not always easy to put them in one at a time.
I can’t wait to read and pin all the great pirate ideas and activities!
