March 2012 Book Finds!

This is the start of the Month Books finds! Each month we look for new and fun books at the library! This months covers a few favorites that we found. The girls and I love looking for new and different books.

March 2012 Book Find: spring

Do you look for new books when you are in a book store or library?

Here are some great books we have been reading. You never know what great book you can find at the library or just by asking what is new at a book store!

Spring is Here

Spring Is Here by Will Hillenbrand: This story is mole finding spring outside and trying to wake up bear, lots of repeat words and actions.

Over at the Castle

Over at the Castle by Boni Ashburn: A fun knights, castle, and dragon rhyming and counting to 10 book. It can also be sung to the classic folk song “Over in the Meadow.”

Little Bunny Foo Foo

Little Bunny Foo Foo: The Real Story by Cori Doerrfeld : Just what made little bunny foo foo go after those mice. Here is the answer! The story is fun and cute and everyone got a laugh out of the book.

Snow Rabbit, Spring Rabbit

Snow Rabbit, Spring Rabbit: A Book of Changing Seasons by Il Sung Na: You follow the rabbit through the change of seasons. It has great pictures and story interaction.

East Dragon West Dragon

East Dragon, West Dragon by Robyn Eversole and Scott Campbell: Two dragons are different and live on different sides of the world. Each dragon is afraid of the other until they meet.

Press Here by Hervé Tullet I found this book through Teach Preschool. A fun book about following directions and seeing what happens.

What the Ladybug Heard

What the Ladybug Heard by Julia Donaldson : The ladybug does not say a word, except for one day. A fun book about farm animal sounds.

March Book Finds

We enjoyed each of these books and I look forward to finding more great reads for next month!
