Penguin Activities Pack for Prewriting, Numbers, Shapes & ABCs

I know that we love having fun seasonal activities to learn with. And a favorite on the site for wintertime has been penguins.

And it is fun to change things up, but have similar activities. I had more requests for themed prewriting pages, ABCs, shapes and I thought well why not have more fun pages like the winter activities pack that I know we just loved.

This is another set that has activities for prewriting, ABCs, shapes, and numbers! All of them work towards helping kids learn in a fun way.

I made these sets to meet the needs of kids at different levels of learning. It is fun to have everyone trace lines but at the level of learning, they are at.

You are going to find no-prep pages, easy reader books, tracing strips, and clip cards. All the pages have a penguin theme for winter. Plus the set gives you a full set of matching penguin activities for prewriting, shapes, numbers, and ABCs!

Ways to use the Penguin Activities Pack

This set has so many fun activities in it. I know that they are loads of fun. There is a mix of hands-on, low prep and no-prep pages for kids to use.

I love the different themes prewriting activities in these sets. I love that you can trace inside the penguin or you can do the prewriting lines on the other no-prep pages. Plus you can do the level of where kids are at. You can give them crayons and let them have fun tracing the lines in different colors.

There is also a cute prewriting book with the penguin waddling to the fish. These are great for those kids that love easy reader book.

There are also matching prewriting strips. These are great when you laminate them and put them on rings. You can trace them over and over. Plus they also work great playdough snakes.

We had some fun with the penguins skating shapes on the ice for our shapes. It has a fun shape with penguins skating around it with the shape name below to trace. Plus there is an optional easy reader book as well. These are so fun to trace and color.

You can do the tracing of shapes with the shape tracing strips. They have a fun penguin theme. I love to laminate these and put them on the ring. That way you can use them over and over.

You can also follow it up with a fun clip cart activity for the shapes. All of the printables are made to work together. We use clothespins lot on these cards.

I always love different ABC activities and there are so many great ideas you can try. I love these ABC penguin finish coloring pages! It is a great way to work on uppercase and lowercase letters.

I love the follow up the pages with the tracing strips. You can pull the strips that match the page you did. You can laminate and put them on rings and use the letters you are looking for.

I like to have many things that work together and the clip cards are great for this. There is a match the letter case and a match uppercase and lowercase. Both are great ABC reviews.

I love having the various number printables activities that kids can do. You can start with the fun easy reader book and matching number chart. You can have kids find the number on the chart as they read the book.

There are various clip cards in the set. You have match the number, what number comes next, count and clip number, and which has more. These are all fun ways to work counting and numbers.

You have a full page for each of the numbers 0 to 10. It allows you an easy way to work on just the number you want. You can count the fish and trace the number below it.

The number tracing strips match the book and coloring page. These are easy to use. I always laminate these tracing strips and put them on a ring. Then use the one that you need.
