You can just do the dotting and tracing of the shape at the same time. It is fun to use the same color for the dotting and the tracing.
You can use any dot markers you have and any markers or crayons. It is fun to see the shapes after the worksheet is done.
Reuse the Shape Dot Maker Printable With Tracing
You can also reuse these shape dot marker pages. You can put the page in a sheet protector or laminate. We use the sheet protector a lot because we can switch out the pages.
You can see we put the page in a sheet protector. Then we use glass gems on the circles and a dry erase marker to dot the page.
You could use the tracing part as a playdough mat for kids. They could line dash lines of the shape with playdough. That gives you fine motor for placing the glass gems and for making the shape with playdough. And you then worked on the shape two different ways.
