What is an r-controlled word?

It is a word where the vowel sound is changed and by the r that comes after the vowel. It is sometimes also called bossy r, because that r tells the vowel what it will sound like.

You can see examples of r-controlled words in the wall cards.

Each of the pages of the book has two sentences. One about a shark and one about what it is. It is a simple way to learn new works.
