Fun Snowflake ABC Tracing Strips

It is fun to have seasonal ABC printables to use with kids. Plus kids are learning their ABCs all year long.

And Snowflake ABC tracings strips are a great seasonal change for December and January! You have letters to trace and have the fun snowflake theme!

You can work on tracing those uppercase and lowercase letters.

These work great with the Snowflake ABC Letter Finds.

These are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for winter.

It is recommend that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating Them.

You can see an example of the tracing strips below. You can see the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip with the example and the ones to trace with the snowflakes.

Things to use with the Snowflake Themed ABC Tracing Strips Printable

• printer
• white cardstock
• laminator – this is similar to what I use and love!
• laminating pouches
• q-tip
• dry erase markers
• 1 inch ring

Ways to Use the Snowflake ABC Tracing Strips Printable

You are going to see a few ways to use these snowflake ABC tracing strips.

Laminating the Snowflake ABC Tracing Strips

You can print the tracing strips on cardstock and then laminate them. You can laminate and then cut the letter tracing strip out or cut and then laminate.

You can see below that we like to laminate and then cut the tracing strips out.

Storing the Snowflake ABC Tracing Strips

After you have the tracing strips laminated and cut out you can store them on a ring. The ring is nice because you can put on the letters you are working on or all the letters.

Setting up a Snowflake ABC Letter Tracing Centers

You can set up a tracing center with the letters. You can put all the letters on the ring or just the ones you are using.

– You could put all the letters for a sight word they are learning. This is a great kindergarten center idea.
– You could put on the letters of their name. This is a great kindergarten and PreK center idea.
– You could just give them one letter at a time. This is a great PreK center idea.

Tracing the Letters Of the Alphabet

After you know what letters you are going to use have them trace the letters. They have the example of how to trace the letters and then let them trace the letters and have fun!

Put ABC Tracing Strips in a Binder

Now if you don’t want to laminate the tracing strips but still want to be able to reuse them. Put the pages in a sheet protector. Then they can trace the letters and you can swap them out.
