Ways to Use the Valentine Roll & Graph Printable
You will see a few ways to use this printable Valentine graphing pack. You can use all the pages or just the pages you are looking for. Each of these is great for working on fine motor with kids.
How to use Valentine Graphing Worksheets
You pick one of the worksheets to use. You then roll the dice. You find the matching picture on the worksheet that matches the dice. Then you color or trace that column one time.
Then you roll the die again and repeat until you have them roll until one column reaches the top.
Using Hands-On Items with the Graphing Worksheet
The graphing worksheet is great for hands on items as well as no-prep for coloring or dotting.
One way to make this hands-on is to use hearts to do the graphs. You can see below we rolled the dice and filled out the chart using hearts for each column on the graph. We rolled until one column reached the top.
And we love using these hearts at Valentines. You could also use unifix cubes or heart erasers as well.
Dot Marker on the Valentine Graphing Worksheet
You can also use a dot marker on the graphing worksheet. You can roll the die and then fill out the graphing by dotting the space above each of the hearts on the die.
You can also color the graphing as well.
Use the Valentine Tracing Graphing Worksheets
There are several ways to use the graphing worksheet. But if you are going to use a pencil and you have someone who is struggling to hold the pencil then use a pencil grip. It is amazing and works great for the pencil or the thin markers.
You can also use markers to trace the letters, numbers or shapes graphing pages. This is a great way to make the activity fun. You can have them use a different color for each column or the same color.

Shape Trace and Color Graphing
You can also have fun tracing and coloring the shapes graphing worksheet. This is a great way to work on fine motor to trace the outline and then fill in the inside of the shape.
You might want to use different colors for each shape to make it fun.
Reusing the Tracing the Graph Worksheets
You can reuse the tracing graphing worksheets by placing them in a sheet protector or laminating them. You can see how simple and easy it is to put in the sheet protector and use a dry erase marker on the letters, numbers or shapes.
