An example is the letter X for x marks the spot for pirate treasure.

Patterns with The Gems
You can do some simple patterns with the gems. You can see how we made AB patterns in the sensory bin. You could stitch and do gems and gold as well.

Bury the Treasure in the Rice
A fun idea is to cover all the treasure with the rice. This can be a challenge and fun at the same time. You can see how well they can do with it. And It is a blast to add this fun activity for the pirate theme.

And then dig the pirate treasure out again. If kids find there is too much to bury then put less in the sensory bin.

Remember to Just Play In the Sensory Bin
