What are Colors For kids?
Colors for kids are often learned with bright colors like red, orange, yellow, and green. You can start with basic colors like red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Then work on learning other colors.
Color Word Wall Card Printables
There are two types of color word wall cards. You have kids with colors that match the crayons and crayons with pictures in the same color.
The wall cards come in large and small sizes. You have both options in the small and big sizes. One for display and the other easier for little hands on the wall or in color learning centers.
The Color Word Wall Cards have eleven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, brown, white and gray.

You can see some of the smaller version of the big wall cards. You can see the ring at the top left-hand side of the card. They look like the big ones just smaller. There are great for learning centers or extra practice.

You can see the smaller version with the picture and crayon with words. This is great for learning centers and for working on color words in small groups. You could also send this version home with kids.

Here is a great way to compare the size difference between the two cards. You can see the color purple for both cards. And these are fun to display and do a match the same color game. You put the larger cards around the room and then search and find the colors on the small cards on a ring.
