You can give kids a little container of coins for them to sort or find. You can do one bookmark at a time. They would find all the pennies the first time. On another day they can find all of the other coins.

You can use the bookmarks to compare how many of one coin to reach another. You can see the nickel and quarter here. You could also talk about how the dime can’t make equal the same amount like a quarter without a nickel.

You could also do this with how many coins to equal a dollar.
