These Skip Counting Apple trees are a way to review your skip counting. They make skip counting a hands-on activity that can help kids learn their skip counting numbers.
The skip counting apple trees are easy to use. They are and easy no prep activity. I do show a few other activities you can do with them.
Each of the trees skip counts 12 times. They cover skip counting from 1 to 12. These apple trees come in two different types: color and black & white. The black and white is a way to help out those in a school setting or at home that might not want to use all the color printing. They are very much the same just one does not have color.

The apples on both are clear so you can cover or color them how you want. There are several things we plan on using:
- apple table scatters
- red glass stones
- dot markers
- skip counting tiles

Using the Dot Markers
It is eays to use the Dot Markers with these printables. They will work on either color or black & white.

Using the red glass gems
The red glass gems make great fine motor activity for this. You cover the apples with the stones as you find them. One way you can pick the numbers is to use the multiplication flashcards. You give them the set of cards, that matches up with the skip counting. They cover the answers as they find them.

Using the Skip Counting Tiles
The skip counting tiles are one of the skip counting printables on the site. They are fun to practice with. For this we use them as a simple number matching activity. You can use the skip counting tiles to cover the apples, gems etc to cover the numbers on the tree.

What you will find in these printables:
- Skip counting for numbers 1 to 12
- Color or black and white options

Pingback: 15+ Super Fun Apple Crafts and Activities For Kids
Hi Cassie,
I love these SO SO Much! I found a couple errors on the colored skip count tree pages.
On the 8s page: 95 should be 96
On the 12s page: it should have 72 and 96.
Would you be able to update those pages? I use these a lot with my kiddos!
I don’t see the 95 on the 8s. And the file I have on my computer is different from the downloads I think. I uploaded the pdfs again.
