Ways to Use the Red, Green, & Yellow Button Sensory Bin

Play in the Button Sensory Bin
The most important thing you can do is just play in the apple color sensory bin. Let kids just explore and play in the sensory bin. You can scoop and pour and so much in a sensory bin. And if all you do is let kids play that is okay.
Sort the Button Colors
You can do a fun sorting activity. You can sort the buttons in the sensory bin or outside of the sensory bin. You can also ask them to find a red button and what them pick up a red button.
You can also ask for amounts of buttons. You can say I was 4 green buttons. They find out and count 4 green buttons.
Make Shapes, Numbers and Letters with the Buttons
You can have fun and make letters, numbers and shapes with the buttons in the sensory bin. You can make them inside or outside of the sensory bin.
They can make their own for the letters, numbers and shapes or you can suggest what they can make. we made a circle that you can see below.
Make AB or ABC Patterns with the Buttons

Just Play in the Button Sensory Bin
And remember that just playing in the sensory bin is okay. You will have a blast exploring the colors and the textures of the rice and buttons. You can add sensory scoops for kids as well.
