What is Multiplication?

Multiplication is one of the basic math operations that kids learn.

Multiplication is the adding of equal groups together. You multiply these numbers together to get an answer.

An example is 2 x 5 = 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10

This printable works on one set of multiplication maths facts at a time. You will see multiplication from numbers 1 to 12.

It allows you to focus on the math fact that you need to work on.

Each page has twelve multiplication problems on the page with 12 matching stars with the answers.

Ways to Use the Space Multiplication Cut & Paste Printable

You cut off the tars on the side of the page. You can color them before cutting out or after. It depends on what works best for your kids.

Then you do the math and match the star to the equations on the page. Each page only has 12 problems for them to solve. If they are having issues with solving the problems you can always use the multiplication bookmarks to help.

After you are done you can have them color the page. These are a fun way to review or learn multiplication with a space theme that works all year long.
