Every month it is a blast looking for new picture books. Yes, all of us look for them even my oldest who is 13 now. We look at the library and the bookstores to see what fun new books we will find.
We always have books on loan from the library that are picture books. They can make brighten our days and teach us in simple and easy ways.
I look at the books as much as my girls do. This months collection is a mix of one my girls found they loved and ones we got at the library.

Apples for Little Fox is abook about fox who wants to be dectective. Fox goes to the library every and and gets an apple from the tree on the way home. But one day the apples are gone. So he goes searching for clues about the apples. We enjoyed following fox on his search for clues.
This Is a Whoopsie! is a fun book about moose. I love the fun facts mixed in with the stor about Whoopsie! You are sure to smile and learn at the same time with this book.
The Golden Glow is about book about nature and a fox who is searching for the golden glow that is very rare. I love the story through the book and items he uses in his search and the nature facts in the book. It it is a fun way to learn about trees and plants while he searches for this wonderful golden glow.
I say Ooh You say Aah is a great interactive book with colored pages and fun words and actions to do. You get to meet Ooh and have a fun time with following instructions and just having a fun time reading.
The Find it Book is a great book by Margaret Wise Brown. We have many favorite books for her. This books has some favorite nursery rhymes along with a search and find for things. This would match up great with reading a nursery rhyme book afterward!
The Stuff of Stars is a book about the big bang in great colors and pictures. I love the poems on each page that tell the story. Plus there is an audio book verision you can get to listen to the book.
Z Goes First: An Alphabet Story Z-to-A is a great story about Z wanting to go first and going through all the letters as he heads to be first. I love the twist on the words and how fun they are!
