The long awaited second summer program is here! This years theme is Build Up. We want to build up the skills during the summer and not let them go. Like last year each week of the 5 weeks of Build Up Summer Learning is a different theme. We start today with Week 1 Pirate. You will find 5 levels of learning: Tot, PreK, Kinder, First Grade and Second Grade.
This program is designed to help keep the skills that they learned during the school year fresh all summer long. We wanted our kids to keep up their learning all year long. We also realized that people have many different level of kids in their house. What is fun is that everyone works on the same theme.
This is a joint project with Royal Baloo! Build up Summer Learning is similar to the Jump In to Summer Learning from last year. Each week you are going to have 20 pages of printables for each level it comes down to 4 pages per day. One thing to note is that this is not the exact same activities repeated from last year. They are slightly different but the two programs could be used together. The only difference is that the ABCs don’t make up with the same weeks.
Each week there will be a new theme and set of printables to go with it. As you can tell we are starting with Pirates this week.

Great program. When my daughter was younger, she would have loved something like this.
Thanks a lot!
Another fantastic year of summer learning fun! I know how much work goes into making this and you have truly outdone yourself again this year 🙂
Thanks Jill! We both worked really hard on creating this years Summer Learning Program.
Pirates arghhh so cool! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
You are welcome. Pirate was a really fun theme to work with.
Great program! I’m especially concerned about my youngest son who is going into Kindergarten this fall. Since we had to switch him to a 3-day per week nursery school program, I’m concerned that I’ll get comments from his K teacher about being behind the other kids who attended full day preschool.
You can always check out last years if you need more work!
I love the idea of continuing learning all summer long. My youngest is just finishing up 1st grade, and I can’t wait to share this with him. I think he’ll have fun with this.
I’m glad he will like it. We have had so much fun putting this together.
So many resources and such a cool theme!
We had a fun time picking themes for this year.
These are great! I love how you have it separated by grades 🙂
This is the only time of year I do that. the Summer program is very special.
This is a great program. I will share with the moms in my group!
Thanks for sharing! I love this series!
This is AMAZING, Cassie! I really appreciate you and Erin doing this series! I featured your week 1 printables as the Free Printables of the Day at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page and on Pinterest. 🙂
Thank you for such kind words! We work really hard on these series and I love how this year turned out!
Just wanted to say thank you so much! I have been doing the space printables (tot pack for my 2 year old and pre-k pack for my 4 year old) all week and they have loved them. They ask to do them almost first thing after breakfast. We are getting ready to move and will be “homeless” (staying with my mom) for about 5 weeks and this is perfect for us to work on…just print and go! I am so thankful I ran across your website!
Our reason for creating this was to have a print and go series for the busy summer time. We love using it and others do as well.

What fun ideas! I’ll be sorting through these and pulling out some ideas for my kids soon! Thanks for linking up with The Thoughtful Spot.
Thank you so much for sharing these! I am a homeschool mom with a k going to first grade in the fall & love being able to keep up a review in the summer. I also have a preschooler who will be starting k this year & really feel the lessons are nice to start preparing her for everyday work & seeing if there are any areas we may need a little extra work! So far they are both doing great & enjoy them.
I”m glad that they are loving them! It is nice when all ages can work together.
