How to Make the Clover Number Word Counting Easy Reader Books
I always get asked how I make the easy reader books. Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.
Cut Down the Center of the Clover Counting Easy Reader Book
You start by lining up the pages and cut down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut. If you have problems holding the pages steady, you can use binder clamps to hold each side.
Alternate the Pages of the Clover Counting Easy Reader Book
You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.
Staple the Left side of the Clover Counting Easy Reader Book
After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, you staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.
Ways to Use the Clover Number Word Counting Book Printable
You can use the book in many ways, but you will see a few fun ways to use this counting book.
Using a Pencil to Trace the Number Words
You can always start off by the number words with a pencil. If you have kids that struggle to hold a pencil you can use a pencil grips to help hold the pencil.
Color the Number Word in the Easy Reader Book
The first time through the book, you could just color the number word. You can have them talk about the number word and how to spell it.
Trace the Number Word in the Easy Reader Book
The second time have them trace the number word in the book. You could do the tracing in pencil the first time and second time in marker.
Color the Clovers in the Easy Reader Book
Finally, you color the clovers in the book. You can do this as you read each of the times before or as something they do after they finish the book. You can color them all one color or have fun coloring them many colors with fine markers or colored pencils.
Match Clovers as You Read
Another fun activity would be to match the clovers with clovers as you read the book. You can get ten clovers out and they cover the clovers in the book as you read the book.
