Free Earth ABC Tracing Strip Printables for Earth Day
ABCs are something you can work on all year long. I know that we are always working on tracing our letters in many different ways.
These free Earth ABC Letter tracing strips are great for Earth Day and sapce letter tracing center.
You can add the alphabet tracing strips to learning centers and have fun tracing letters. They have all the letters of the alphabet from A to Z for kids to trace.

Earth ABC Tracing Strip Printables
The Earth Day ABC Tracing Strip Printables are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for Earth Day or a Space theme.
It is recommended that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating them.
You can see an example of the tracing strips below. You can see the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip with the example and the ones to trace with the Earth.

Things to use with the Earth ABC Tracing Strips Printable
- printer
- white cardstock
- laminator – this is similar to what I use and love!
- laminating pouches
- q-tip
- dry erase markers
- rings
Ways to Use the Earth ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You will see a few ways to use these Earth alphabet tracing strips with kids.
Laminating the Earth ABC Tracing Strips
If you plan on using the Earth alphabet tracing strips a lot, you might want to print them on
cardstock and laminate them. It is a great way to reuse this alphabet handwriting activity. You can laminate the page and then cut or cut them out and laminate them.
You can see we like to laminate first and then cut them out.
If you look, close you might see some specks on the cards. That is because they are printed on stardust cardstock and it has small flecks of color on the tracing strips. Something fun to change things up for Earth Day.
Storing the Earth ABC Tracing Strips
After you have the Earth alphabet letter tracing strips cut out you can store them in a ring. This is a great way to keep all the ABC strips together. I find them easier to get at later when we reuse them.
Setting up an Earth ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can use these Earth letter tracing strips in a center. You can put all the letters of the alphabet for them to trace of just a few letters in the center.
You can see we have them on a ring and a dry erase marker to use on them.

– Sight words
– CVC words
– Vocab they are learning
– Letter of the Day
Tracing the Letters
You can then work on tracing the letters on the Earth letter tracing strips. You can trace all the strips, clean off, or trace, then clean off. You can do which works best for the kids you are working with.
If you use a color marker and the marker does not come off easily, using a dry erase cleaner will help.
Put ABC Tracing Strips in a Binder
If you love the idea of the tracing strips but don’t want laminate, you can print all the strips on copy paper and put them in sheet protectors in a binder. That way, you can still trace the letters without worrying about laminating and cutting out the strips.
