Play in the Sensory Bin

Sensory play is important for kids. You can let kids just play in sensory bin. They are not meant to perfect and kept looking nice. They are made to be mess and played in.

Let kids make a mess in the sensory bin. They will enjoy just playing.

Scoop and Pour with Hands

A fun activity is scooping and pouring the buttons and rice in the bin. You can do this with your hands or with a cup or sensory scoops.

It is fun to listen to the rice and buttons as they hit the bin again. And yes this cab make a mess. But that is okay. You should let them make a mess. If you are working put a sheet or town under the bin to make cleaning up the rice easier.

For older kids challenge them with letters, shapes, and numbers! You can tell them a letter and have them make it. You could do a letter from their number, a letter they are working, number of the day, circles for the shape of the Earth and more!

And if all you do is play in the sensory bin then have you done amazing! Kids love play and just letting them play is as important as other types learning.
