Seasonal sensory bins are always lots of fun. This St Patrick’s Day sensory bin is tons of fun to play in. You can see many of the themes from St. Patrick’s Day in it. It has a rice base that makes it easy and fun to play in.
It is fun to explore different texture in the sensory bins. We use rice for a lot of our bins and it adds a lot of fun to see how they will interact with the different items. Cups and different items in the bin give them items to make great messes with. This one has some small glitter hats that added some fun to the set.
This is our second St. Patrick’s day Sensory bin. You can see our first one here: St. Patrick’s Day Sensory Bin
What you need for this sensory bin: rice, small hats, table topper leprechauns, fabric clovers and St. Patrick’s Coins.

The first thing she always does is explore what is in the bin. She loves finding all the next object. She loved the hats and the table topper leprechauns. She had fun just exploring what was there. She pulled out the small leprechauns and put them in the hats and covered them with rice.

She pulled out all the hats and started filling them with various things from the bin. Then she would pour them back in. She counted some of the items she put in the hats.

She pulled out all the fabric clovers from the bin and feed her sheep. Then she wanted to do some patterns. She made 4 patterns and then her sheep ate all of them.
