Cursive is a skill that some schools teach and some don’t. We are lucky that our school does teach it. To help with what my oldest is learning at school, I made the ABC uppercase Playdough mats to go with the ABC lowercase playdough mats. These make learning the letters loads of fun. It is fun to put two different types of learning together.
Normally we use playdough when we do the mats. Every now and then I mix it up and use something different. This time we used theraputty this time. We used tan which is the lightest weight. This gave her the sensory experience, when she did not want to use playdough.
There is a one set that has a uppercase letter and letters to trace.
The next option has a great cut out of the letter they can trace with the playdough mat.
These are use to use. I keep the cursive uppercase and lowercase ABCs in sheet protectors, so my oldest can practice them all she wants. I have them so she can see both letters at the same time.
